Saturday morning of our D.C. trip, Justin and I woke up early and headed to mid-town. Before we got on the metro, we stopped by SAIS (where JN had went to school for a bit) and I made him take a picture with a piece of the Berlin Wall. We then traveled to George Washington, one of the schools I am applying to for grad school. We also passed through China Town and the White House (decorated for Halloween), finally stopping at the Smithsonian American Art Museum. There was a great floor of modern art, as well as the impressive presidential portrait gallery. We ended our afternoon with lunch at a brewery and headed back to the house to get ready for the awards gala.
