Costa Rica: Days Five and Six

Also, the beach had been pristine the night we got to Playa Hermosa. The next day, after a round of storms, there was tons of debris on the beach that made me think of this book I had just finished: http://www.donovanhohn.com/Home.html . Donovan Hohn, English-teacher-turned-ocean-explorer-journalist, chronicles the lives of a shipment of plastic bath toys lost at sea. He also depicts, hauntingly, the omnipresence of human-made materials on every single piece of global shoreline.
That being said, there was a beautiful cove on our beach that J found one morning and the sunsets were worth planning our evenings around.
